Aggreko Powers the 2010 Asian Games

Guangzhou, China - Aggreko, the global leader in the provision of temporary power and temperature control, provided temporary power generation services for the 2010 Asian Games and Asian Para Games. Both events were staged in Guangzhou, China, during november and december. 

Aggreko provided around 65 megawatts of power generation and associated distribution to serve the needs of the 16 stadia and the International Broadcast Centre.  It also provided power to support the opening and closing ceremonies.  Aggreko provided all aspects of the power packages, including design, mobilisation, installation, operation and maintenance. The estimated value of the contracts was US$30 million.
