Company launches gas generator for the Brazilian Oil and Gas Market
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil – With operations in Brazil since 2003, Aggreko, a major supplier of temporary power for Petrobras in the Campos Basin, was once again present at Rio Oil & Gas, held from 13th to 16th September at Riocentro. The highlight of the company's booth for this year was the release of the gas power for the oil and gas market. Aggreko was contracted to supply 21.000 kVA of power and 750 TR (refrigeration tonne) of air-conditioning to acclimate the environment of the Rio Oil & Gas, for which received more than 40.000 people during the four day event.
Global leader in temporary power supply and temperature control and being the largest power rental supplier in Brazil, Aggreko believes that alternative energy sources such as gas power, can provide the customers a cheaper and more flexible electricity and also increase the reliability of electric power by installing gas generator sets in parallel with the local network enabling to cover any possible failure in the concessionaire’s energy supply.
